in this article, at the beginning, with a descriptive-analytical method, mulla sadra's point of view on the levels of faith and fowler's point of view on the stages of faith growth were explained, and then attention was paid to comparing the commonalities and differences and evaluating these two points of view. mulla sadra has expressed the levels of faith based on the principles of transcendental wisdom, especially the essential movement and doubt in the levels of existence, man and knowledge. he sometimes divides faith into 1) imitation, 2) demonstrative, 3) obvious, and sometimes into 1- apparent and 2- real, as well as 1- verbal, 2- semantic, 3- real (proof or discovery) and 4- absorption in the light. unity divides. the pinnacle of faith is completely in theoretical and practical reason, and only a few of them reach the divine caliphate and the perfect human being. influenced by some new christian theologians such as tillich and psychologists such as piaget and kohlberg, fowler developed faith in the following stages: 1) intuitive-projective faith, 2) mystic-literal faith, 3) synthetic-reflective faith, 4) individuative-reflective faith, 5) conjunctive faith and 6) universalizing faith. from his point of view, people like gandhi and mother teresa are an example of the sixth stage of faith with their cognitive and moral breadth. the expression of some similarities and differences between these two views and some points in their evaluation is the result of comparing these two views.
